Rancho Tres Hijos has an abundance of all natural game and some of the finest facilities and opportunities for hunting anyone will find in the South Texas brush country. There are whitetail deer, ferrel hogs, bobcats, badgers, coyotes, javelina, mourning dove, ducks, blue and bobwhite quail, all types of song birds, and turkey.
The native brush, which includes large areas of guajillo, black brush, twisted and catclaw acacia, granjeno, and guayacan, assures an ample supply of minerals and protein to grow the large racks of antlers on the whitetail deer without any supplemental protein. A portion of the ranch has been high fenced for over 25 years and is carefully managed to produce trophy bucks without any outside genetics.
The ranch specializes in guided father/son, father/daughter, and businessman/client hunts for whitetail deer, dove, and occasionally offers hunts for native bob-white quail. Photography opportunities are also available. Please contact Austin Schaefer (830) 391-2830(M) at the ranch for more information if you are interested in a first class hunting experience.
